Went climbing and abseiling to Cow and Calf in Ikley moors and it was absolutely great! The instructor John was really supportive and helpful and Sarah and Ben lovely at organising everything... we even has the opportunity for some last minute photos which were great! Will definitely go for other activities offered in the near future! ☺

What an incredible experience! The night before I was feeling somewhat apprehensive however from the start of the day Ben made it a fun yet adventurous day. This morning I did not think I would have the confidence to jump off rocks and be belayed down canyons but he was a great teacher and was very encouraging. The coniston ghyll and canyon 3 hour experience was absolutely beautiful. The water is so clear and it was amazing to be swimming and climbing up waterfalls. I would thoroughly recommend Ben as a guide and my sister and I hope to do some more trips with YAC in the future. If you are even thinking about a canyoning or scrambling experience BOOK IT with YAC! Definitely a day I will never forget.

John took a big group of us out on Friday in pretty wild conditions - only made for a better experience! Everyone one of us loved every minute of it, scaled some waterfalls that we didn't think would be possible and felt completely safe at all times whilst doing it. The whole experience was spot on and will definitely be looking to book another trip out in the future! Thank you John P and the team :-)

We had an amazing day out ghyll scrambling with John in Langdale! The rain meant that we were unable to perform the activity in Coniston as intended but Ben and his team were able to find a safer location so that we didnt miss out and I'm glad they did because it was brilliant. John provided us with great gear, guidance and laughs and he made us all feel really safe. We are looking to book again with Yorkshire Adventure Company and would definitely recommend.

Our three hours ghyll scrambling and canyoning Church Beck with Ben was hands-down our family's favorite activity during our week in the Lake District! Ben is super kind and friendly, patient and encouraging. He explained everything we were doing (cliff jumps, climbing up waterfalls and abseiling down them) thoroughly before each activity so that all of us (including our three kids) felt comfortable and confident, and he always made it clear that each new "challenge" was entirely optional so that no one ever felt ashamed or embarrassed if a particular jump or slide was a bit too daunting. The wetsuits, wetsuit socks, helmets, buoyancy aids, and harnesses we were given seemed virtually brand new, and Ben did a wonderful job of being not only an enthusiastic and experienced guide but also a great photographer! We've loved sharing the pictures he took with family and friends! He took care of every detail, right down to having a changing hut available for getting in and out of wetsuits. I can't recommend this experience highly enough! Or Ben, for that matter! We're already telling all of our family and friends to book an experience with him!
Had a great day out canyoning with Ben. I didn't think we'd have much to do as the weather was rubbish. But he made sure we missed nothing out. so much fun, definitely recommend!

We completed a half day Ghyll Scramble and it was brilliant. There was heavy rain all morning and the water was really powerful but it made for an amazing experience! John our instructor was fantastic, instilled us all with confidence and made sure we took our time and felt safe throughout. Even in difficult conditions it was epic, but manageable - would definitely recommend!

We have just completed the Ghyll Scrambling and Canyoning Experience Day at Coniston, Lake District. What an absolutely amazing experience we had (our boys are age 14 and 10). John our guide was knowledgeable, fun and patient with all of us and clearly loves his job. I was a little nervous and he put me at ease, the boys were more adventurous and he made sure their experience was just a little bit more daring than mine. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to push past their comfort zone whilst taking in some amazing sights up close and personal with waterfalls. I would book with the Yorkshire Adventure Company again without hesitation.

Had a fantastic afternoon ghyll scrambling and canyoning with Ben and Yorkshire Adventure Company on Thursday 6th August in the beautiful Church Beck. Was there with my two sons aged 16 and 13 and another family and we all absolutely loved it. Plenty of challenges, thrills and laughs, Ben was great, very personable and great knowledge, would definitely book again and recommend highly.

We went ghyll scrambling on a beautiful day in the lakes. From the start right through to the end it was one of my favourite experiences outdoors. Everything was taken care of on the admin side and the information about the day communicated effectively before the trip. The equipment we were given was to a really high standard and fit well. Ben who led the excursion made me feel at ease and talked me through each part of the day. Not only did we have the full enjoyment of the climbing and jumps but we also learnt alot about the environment we were in. Ben's knowledge, experience and people skills combined to create the perfect day out. It might have been the first time ghyll scrambling but certainly not the last. I can't wait for the next adventure with Yorkshire Adventure Company.

Spent the day in the lakes with Ben Canyoning and loved every minute! Climbing up, sliding down and jumping of waterfalls with Ben our guide for the day was amazing,made us feel really safe and had some funny stories to tell! Made the trip really fun. Provided all the gear for us to wear and made sure we felt safe and comfortable.
Would recommend to anyone for fab day out for family's and friends!
